Products found to contain undeclared medicines

The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has tested MMC Maxman V Capsules and found that it contains the undeclared prescription substances sildenafil, despite the product label claims that it is 100% Natural & safe and contains no medicines. It also contains the undeclared substance phenolphthalein which was previously used as an oral laxative, but is no longer available in Australia due to serious safety concerns associated with its long term use. Consumers are advised to stop taking MMC Maxman V capsules and take any remaining capsules to local pharmacy for safe disposal, and consult their healthcare practitioner if they have any concerns arising from their use of this product.
