The United States: Mega Slim Herbal Appetite Management Pills by YoungYou International: Recall - Presence of DMAA
 
FDA announced that YoungYou International is recalling Mega Slim Herbal Appetite Management Pills. An FDA laboratory report indicated the presence of DMAA in Mega Slim Herbal Appetite Management. DMAA is also known as 1,3-dimethylamylamine, methylhexanamine or geranium extract. DMAA is commonly used as a stimulant, pre-workout, and weight loss ingredient in dietary supplement products. FDA has warned that DMAA is potentially dangerous to health as it might cause a rise in blood pressure or other cardiovascular problems such as shortness of breath, tightening in the chest or heart attack. FDA has also warned that DMAA is an unapproved dietary ingredient.

Mega Slim Herbal Appetite Management is packaged in White Bottles with 30 white capsules. The affected lots include the following Bar Code 736211614094 and expiration date of June 2014. Affected product was sold from September 15, 2013 through January 23, 2014. Mega Slim Herbal Appetite Management was made available to consumers only through the YoungYoucorp.com website. Consumers in possession of the Mega Slim Herbal Appetite Management product subject to this recall are advised to immediately stop using the product and return it to YoungYou.
