| The United States: King Bio issues voluntary nationwide recall of all aqueous-based products for human and animal use due to possible microbial contamination |

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announces that King Bio is voluntarily recalling all of its aqueous-based products for human and animal use, within expiry, to the consumer level due to possible microbial contamination. A complete list of recalled products and lot numbers can be found at the company’s website (the link is available at the FDA website below).
Administration or use of drug products with microbial contamination, could potentially result in increased infections that may require medical intervention, and could result in infections that could be life threatening to certain individuals. To date, King Bio has not received any reports of illness or injury. King Bio is recalling the products as a precautionary measure.
