| Canada: Foreign Product Alert: various weight loss products were found to contain undeclared medicines |

Health Canada announced that 27 foreign health products have been found by regulators in other countries to contain undeclared drug ingredients. The products are not authorized for sale in Canada and have not been found in the Canadian marketplace but it is possible they may have been brought into the country by travellers or purchased over the Internet.
The products were found to contain the following ingredients:
• Asia Black, Black Widow 25, Burn Fat Now, Extreme Stack, Fataway Ultimate Stack, MaxOut Body, Metabolic Accelerator, Methyldrene Original 25 Dietary Supplements, ThermoFX, Thermogenic Fat Burner, and Thin and Slim Naturally: undeclared salicylic acid
• BASCHI Quick Slimming capsules, Basha Nut 100% Fruit Soft Gel Capsules, Lishou Slimming Coffee, Meizi Super Power Fruits Herbal Slimming Formula, NATUREAL, New Queen Slimming soft gel capsules, Tip-Top Shape, and Ultimate Herbal Slimcap: undeclared sibutramine
• Miracle Diet 30, and Xtreme Fat Burner Capsules: undeclared phenolphthalein
• Perfect Slim Fast Track Slim, and Slyn Both: undeclared fluoxetine
• Pink Bikini and Shorts on the Beach Blue Edition, and Pink Bikini and Shorts on the Beach Blue Gold Edition: undeclared sibutramine and phenolphthalein
• Super Herbs: undeclared sibutramine and desmethylsibutramine
Consumers are advised to consult with a healthcare professional if they have health concerns related to the use of any of these products.
