Products found to contain undeclared medicines

The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) advised consumers should stop taking Naturally Kouxan Best Slim capsules and discard any remaining capsules, as it was found to contain the undeclared substance sibutramine. This is despite the product label claim that it is made of herbal ingredients and contains no medicines. TGA advised that sibutramine is a prescription-only medicine and was withdrawn in October 2010 after a study showed an increased risk of major cardiac events.
