Products found to contain undeclared medicines

 
Australia: Safety alert: Black Ant King tablets contain the undeclared substances sildenafil and chloramphenicol
 
The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has tested a product labelled Black Ant King tablets and found that the tablets contain the undeclared substances sildenafil and chloramphenicol. Consumers are advised that sildenafil is a prescription-only substance in Australia. Chloramphenicol is also a prescription-only substance when not being used for ophthalmic use. TGA investigations have shown that a number of people in Australia may have bought the product online. Consumers are advised to stop taking the product and take any remaining tablets to their local pharmacy for safe disposal. If they have any concerns arising from their use of this product, consult their health care practitioner.
