In Hong Kong, Botanical Slimming is not a registered pharmaceutical product. News on Meizitang Botanical Slimming 100% Natural Soft Gel that found to contain undeclared western medicine was previously issued by Singapore HSA and Health Canada, and was posted on the Drug Office website on 27 January and 15 June 2016 respectively. The DH strongly urged the public not to buy or consume products of doubtful composition or from unknown sources. All registered pharmaceutical products should carry a Hong Kong registration number on the package in the format of “HK-XXXXX”. Safety, quality and efficacy of unregistered pharmaceutical products are not guaranteed.
