| Canada: Recall: Tetracycline 250 |

Health Canada announces that Vetoquinol is recalling Tetracycline 250 (lot no.: 482828, 483123, 484080, 484081, 490145, 490146 and 490730) due to out of specification result for degradation product assay during shelf life testing. The product contains Tetracycline HCl 250 mg/g. The depth of distribution of the product is wholesalers, retailers, producers and health professionals in Canada.
Health Canada classified the hazard level of the recall as Type II, i.e. a situation in which the use of, or exposure to, a product may cause temporary adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.
